Carolyn R. McMakin, MA, DC

Carolyn McMakin is clinical director at the Fibromyalgia and Myofascial Pain Clinic in Portland USA. She is the founder of FSM (Frequency-Specific-Microcurrent) therapy. Caroly McMakin published numerous papers on Frequency-Specific Microcurrent Therapy and is the author of several books:

Carolyn McMakin, a chiropractor specialising in fibromyalgia and myofascial pain, writes here about her experience of using a dual-channel microcurrent device and reports the amazing results achieved. These results have changed medicine and created new possibilities for suffering patients over the last twenty years. The Resonance Effect is the story of her inspirational journey, where she has had the courage to stand by her true calling, while driving the development of a remarkable newly discovered treatment method; Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) treatment, which uses the body’s own ability to respond to frequencies to heal various chronic conditions. Nerve pain, fibromyalgia, diabetic neuropathies, muscle pain, sports performance, post-injury recovery, joint pain, lower back and neck pain, pain from kidney stones, as well as kidney stones, liver disease, diabetic wounds, brain and spinal cord injuries, PTSD, depression, shingles, asthma, ovarian cysts, abdominal adhesions and scarring all respond to specific frequencies. Carolyn McMakin explains here that the results are predictable, reproducible and teachable – without causing any side effects – offering hope and healing to millions. Case studies illustrate the effectiveness of the treatment and include frequencies specific to each condition so patients can do their own treatment at home. “A fantastic read! Whether you are a patient looking for answers or a health care provider looking for breakthrough discoveries, this book will open up a whole new world of possibilities. Dr. McMakin has created the long-awaited exposé on the emerging field of energy medicine. The stories will inspire you and the information provided will restore your hope about the future of healthcare!” – Roger Billica, MD, FAAFP (Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians), former Chief of NASA’s Space Medical Operations Program “The Resonance Effect authored by Dr. Carolyn McMakin, an expert in energy medicine, is a must-read for anyone interested in both the rationale and application of energy medicine for healing purposes.” – Jeffrey Bland, PhD, co-founder of the Institute for Functional Medicine and author of The Disease Delusion

    • Frequency-specific microcurrent in pain therapy:

Resonance therapy with frequency-specific microcurrent is based on a new treatment paradigm that opens up new treatment possibilities in pain therapy.

The foundation for the book has been laid over the last 15 years, starting with Robert Becker, who documented the bioelectric nature of the human body in “The Body Electric” and continuing with authors such as James Oschman, PhD, who described the biophysics of energy medicine in his book “Energy Medicine, The Scientific Basis”.

Frequency Specific Microcurrent in Pain Management describes the origins, mechanisms, beneficial applications and practical details of frequency specific therapy – a treatment technique that uses frequencies, microampere current and the principles of biological resonance to treat pain and a wide range of medical conditions.

– It includes condition-specific frequency protocols for the treatment of various pain complaints and multicentre clinical case reports documenting successful application of the technique.
– Each section includes a discussion of the pathophysiology of the condition and a differential diagnosis, plus current research findings.

Caroly McMakin lectures worldwide on frequency-specific microcurrent therapy. The trainings are divided into 2-day and 3-day courses.
